About LMA
Little Musicians Academy
Little Musicians Academy (LMA) is a non-profit organization established in 1999 by Sri Komanduri Ramachary with the blessings and support from Late Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam garu. LMA provides training in light music to musically gifted children, absolutely free (for the children in India). The Academy is located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
LMA is a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing the talent of aspiring musicians of children aged 5 to 16 years and skill levels. This is done to help such proteges stay focused on honing talent, to help those who have personal/other challenges. LMA has taken it all upon itself to help transform these fledglings into melodious euphonies.
LMA was born out of the vision of our guru Sri Ramachary to build a community of highly skillyful, trained professional singers with the potential of being playback singers and with an objective of the film industry looking no further than the Telugu states for talent.
The dream of a super guru Sri K. Ramachary to start and build new singing prodigies and with the increased awareness about music has led to start the one-and-only Little Musicians Academy (LMA) – Balagandharvam in 1998. Later it was registered under cultural organisations in January 1999, with the blessings of Late Dr. S.P. Balasubrahmanyam garu.
Passion for music with a pursuit of excellence is what has helped LMA shape into an institution where creativity thrives and dreams come to life. Whether you’re a beginner looking to explore the world of music or an advanced musician seeking to enhance your skills, LMA facilitates the rise of young and talented aspirants as they catapult into professional singers, ensuring they carry the baton and the legacy of music, forward.
Apart from levelling the track to perfection, the academy also is keen on instilling values, inculcating respect for the culture, and helping students shape into individuals with the right attitude and a defining personality. LMA also conducts many events, inspirational programmes and global workshops to motivate children and encourage them in presenting their talents without any stage fears.
