Teaching Methodology
Little Musicians Academy is an abode of learning for light music, which encompasses various musical styles and genres and is characterized by melodious tunes making learning easier.
At LMA, light music training revolves around three primary elements and Guru Ramachary strives to educate the children on understanding and maintaining coordination between these three stages:
- Literature (Sahityam)
- Melody (Ragam)
- Rhythm (Thalam)
And when teaching a song to the students, Sri Ramachary offers a deeper insight into the raga, thala, swaras used in a particular song, while providing perspective on the composition. Sri Ramachary also talks about five elements that are crucial for any student to learn, practice and sing with perfection: Sravanam (Listening), Lekhanam (Writing), Pathanam (Reading), Drusyam (Watching), Mananam (Memorizing). Overall, it is a holistic training with greater emphasis on voice culture and control, and nuances such as diction, emotion, breathe control, microphone handling, audience engagement, body language, etc. These aspects help shape our students into mastering the art, crafting it to perfection and ultimately delivering outstanding, captivating performances. In addition to training in music, LMA also contributes to the personality development of its students, thanks to Ramachary garu, who leads by example of being a great human being.
Today, we are witnessing the rise of talented singers, opportunities in abundance, of course with huge competition around. LMA guides students working closely with them as they prepare themselves to compete and perform to earn their name in the professional singing sphere.
