About Us
Little Musicians Academy (LMA) is a non-profit organisation which imparts free training to musically gifted children between 5 to 18 years of age. LMA provides training in Light Music (Film songs, Geet, Ghazals, group songs, patriotic songs, folk songs and traditional songs that depict our Indian culture, light classical music, Annamayya, Purandaradas, Ramadas Keerthanas etc).Â
Imparting techniques of singing like breath management, modulation, emoting while keeping shruti and laya in mind, performance techniques like body language, holding mic, voice throwing etc through real time exposure to stage and voice recording studios.

Shri Ramachary Komanduri, a talented playback singer and music director is easily the soul of Little Music Academy, an organisation he founded in Hyderabad to teach music to students below 18 free of cost. A brilliant musician himself K. Ramachary was born in Medak district in Telangana to K Krishnamachary, a Harikatha artist and Yashodamma. His first tryst with music began as he accompanied his father to various programmes during childhood. Blessed with a mellifluous voice he went on to learn Classical music from Kumari Oruganti Leelavathi and light music from Shri PV Saibaba. He single-handedly facilitated the transplantation of Telugu film music from Chennai to Hyderabad. He is known for his melodious rendition of devotional and light music for television and radio shows yet his greatest joy comes from imparting musical training to the little ones and hand holding them through the vast and myriad world of music.
Our Mentor
Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam was born on June 4, 1946 in Konetammapeta in the Nellore district of the state of Andhra Pradesh. He is the second son in a family of three sons and five daughters. His father SP Sambamurthy was a well-known exponent of Harikatha.
Interested in music from early on, SPB pursued it with passion. Even during his college days as an engineering student, SPB regularly participated in singing competitions for amateur singers organised by the Madras-based Telugu Cultural Organisation, and earned his first opportunity from music director SP Kodandapani.From then on, SPB has carried on with undiminished not only as a singer but also as actor, dubbing artist, music director and producer, delighting his fans in all his avatars.

Once a student of LMA achieves 18 years of age he/she becomes part of the alumni of the academy. The alumni members are fully involved in the activities of LMA and readily step in whenever their presence required. Hence, the umbilical chord that ties the LMA student with their beloved institution is never severed.
